Re: AE-33 lev0
Thanks a lot Thomas for your reply. Actulally, I was wondering if there was a nomenclature inaccuracy: with att1_1, att2_1, are defined as attenuation coefficient in the metadata, but we should report the attenuations. Is it correct? Should the metadata be changed from attenuation coefficien to atte...

MAAP pressure sensor
Hello everybody, we are experiencing a recurring error on our MAAP at Monte Cimone. The error code is 0000 0000 0100 8000 (filter change condition already met immediately after filter change and flow deviation >5%). When the error apperars, by checking into the instrument menu, the absolute sensor p...

Re: TROPOS inversion program
Thanks a lot Kay for your help, we still have some doubts concerning the meaning and differences among the output files created by the Labview program that uses raw and diagnostic files as input and provides as output the following folders: 01_fl1; 01_ra1; 02_flg; 02_ra2; 03_ra3; 09_ein; 10_in0; 11_...

AE-33 lev0
Hello everybody, I'm looking at the AE-33 lev0 data template. I see that attenuation coefficients are expected to be reported, even if they are not a direct output of the AE-33 instrument. Do you calculate them with the following formula? Att (λ) = eBC(λ)*sigma(λ)*C (1.57) Is it correct? Maybe it sh...

Re: level 2 flags
Thanks Jean-Philippe!
Good idea the formula for local contamination.
Concerning the RH (flag 640), we decided to flag 640 the hourly average only if there are RH flags during at least 50% of the original data.
Cheers

level 2 flags
Hello,
when flagging the lev 2 data (horly average), should we report a specific flag that is present in lev 1 data only for a single sample (1 minute)?
Example: relative humidity >40% (flag 640) only during few minutes in the full hour.
Many thanks for your help
Best Regards

TROPOS inversion program
Hello to everybody,
we are currently using the software DMPS_Inversion_V2.16.vi, provided by TROPOS. Can anyone provide the headers of files produced by the mentionad Labview code?
Many thanks for your help
