Dear all,
We are thinking about using a denuder in front of an EC/OC sampler to avoid the positive sampling artefacts. Has anyone any recommendation for a denuder for an LV-sampler?
Thanks,
Michael

Re: EC/OC-denuder
Dear Michael,
ACTRIS recommends multi-channel activated carbon monolith denuders (as described in our General Recommendations).
Residence time in the denuder should be 1-2 seconds.
It's currently difficult to find carbon monolith denuders in Europe.
Aerosol d.o.o in Slovenia used to sell 40 mm diameter denuders, but they were quite short.
You may get in touch with them to know if they can currently provide you with longer ones.
All the best,
jp
