TSI APSS 3321 issues

Post by HaraldFlentje »

Hi,
do we have an activity already to collect in our community and foreward to TSI issues with TSI APSS 3321 and how we cope with this on the long-term? We discussed in an AIS meeting already 1-2 years ago, that someone (the NF-representative AIS - Costas?) would set up an inventory of defects with instruments which have arisen, did we? And did this concern APSS? Unfortunately, I lost track of this - that's why I put it here.

We operate TSI APSS 3321 since 03/23, had a laser failure and pump exchange (still warranty) in 01/2024, a total-pump failure now in 04/25 (probably able to self-fix, but from what we see inside, the sheath-pump will likely follow soon). Each repair at TSI needs > 4 weeks and several 1000 €.

We hear that other NFs have constant trouble with APSS and wonder how we deal with this as a network. In short: we'dlike to contribute to the possibly elsewhere ongoing discussion, so, if, can anyone tell me where this takes place?

Cheers, Harald
